  • Before we release any products to the public, we also perform a destructive test on each design with the assistance of a test facility equipped with test measurement and data recording equipment.
  • Precision machined from 6000 series aluminum.
  • Compatible with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets.
  • When folded flat – less than 1.75 inches of thickness.
  • Max load rating : 16,000 pounds.
  • Ultimate failure: greater than 40,000 pounds.
  • Fits steel cables and synthetic winch ropes to 3/8 inch diameters.
  • EPDM Rubber Guard protects alloy fairleads and cushions line stowage.
  • Simple snap ring removal for shear pin.
  • Fits common 3/4 shackles/D-Rings.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

It's time to replace your conventional winch hook with this more reliable, safer Red Aluminum FlatLink Winch Shackle from Factor 55. Unlike conventional winch hooks, this Flat Link shackle (00050-01) won't fray or cut the recovery straps, or even allow the straps to escape during slack moments. This allows you to use a screw pin shackle which is a safer way to have a closed system operation. It's made from precision machined 6000 series aluminum and finished in a hard-anodized red powder coat that's exceptionally durable and will resist corrosion. Included EPDM rubber guards protect your alloy fairleads and cushion line stowage.

Eliminate the conventional winch hook and replace it with a safer and stronger FlatLink shackle thimble and D-ring. The FlatLink shackle mount is the Industry’s first folding shackle mount for recovery winches. With less than 1.75 inches of thickness, the Flatline will work with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets. The Conventional winch hooks can cut and fray recovery straps and often allow strap ends to escape during momentary slack cycles of a typical winching recovery. Screw pin shackles do not allow strap loops to escape due to the secure screw pin attachment.
