Description
Camburg upper arms are designed to address the limitations of stock upper arms when lifting your truck. By replacing the stock ball-joint with a uniball bearing, they improve wheel travel and durability under extreme conditions. They also enhance the vehicle's alignment and driving characteristics by adjusting the camber curve and adding more caster.
Camburg's arms feature stronger FK 3/4" chromoly heim joints for additional camber and caster adjustment, eliminating flexing and binding. Using advanced CAD/CAM engineering software and their FARO laser scan arm, they ensure precise design and fit.
Manufactured in-house, Camburg's arms undergo CNC laser cutting, bending, MIG welding, sandblasting, and powder-coating. Machined parts, including uniball mis-alignment spacers, are made in their CNC machine shop using heat-treated stainless steel. Their arms increase usable wheel travel, correct camber and caster, and eliminate weak factory ball-joints. They are made in the USA and come with all necessary hardware for installation.
Given the multitude of factors such as wheel size, offset/backspacing, tire size, brand preferences, and suspension specifics, adjustments like trimming the plastic inner fenders or modifying the body mounts behind the front tires may be necessary to prevent tire rubbing.
