What is Front Shock Assembly?

The Front Shock Assembly is a handy service that preassembles your vehicle's front shocks and coils. Basically, you get a ready-to-install unit that includes everything you need: shocks, coil springs, and new top hats.

Installing a lift kit can be exciting, but it often comes with a bit of a challenge—getting it just right. It can be tricky and take up a lot of your time. So we offer a chance for no more struggling with complicated assembly! This setup ensures everything fits perfectly and makes your lift kit installation a breeze.

How Is the Shock Assembly Process?

1. Prepare everything: Before starting, all parts should be organized: the front shock, the coil spring, and the top hat. Ensure all necessary tools are ready as well.

2. Place and Compress the Spring: The coil spring is positioned into the spring compressor, which is then tightened to compress the spring securely.

3. Insert the Shock: The new front shock is inserted into the center of the compressed coil spring, ensuring proper alignment.

4. Position and secure the Top Hat: The top hat is placed onto the top of the shock, ensuring correct alignment. Then, it’s bolted onto the shock to ensure it’s firmly secured.

5. Release the compression: The compression on the spring is carefully released. The spring expands, with the bottom of the shock and the top hat holding it in place.

6. Final check: Everything is checked to ensure correct assembly and that the shock is securely attached to the coil spring and top hat.
